I agree; I believe that the Christmas tree is included in what the Holy Scriptures identify as asherim or asherah.
Historically, it was also known as the tree of paradise or tree of praise.
Christmas was unknown to most Americans until the late 1800's and became a commercial bonanza in the early nineteen hundreds when it was adopted as a National holiday.
Reformation pastors and clergy rejected Christmas along with pre-tribulation rapture, and thus the early American colonist rejected Christmas.
