Wordful… Thursday!

Howdy there folks!
Sorry for the abrupt disappearance, I had a sudden lack of inspiration and couldn't think, I mean absolutely couldn't think of anything to post! Quite strange, seeing as I usually would post what's been going on and things like that, thought of course there really hasn't been that much going on around here to post about.
I changed my braces [aligners] this morning for my upper teeth.. Now on set 14 (I think it's 14) of 21! Yippee! Getting close to the end!
While I was thumbing through some of my books today, I was going through 'Uncle Arthur's Bedtime Stories' and started reading Doreen's Jewel Box, and realized I had never posted chapter 3 up here for ya'll to find out what Doreen actually did get on her birthday! (I've posted Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 so far.) So I've started typing up Chapter 3, and hopefully I'll be able to get it finished and posted here before too awful long.
Perhaps many of you have already guessed what Doreen got on her birthday… lol.

We went and picked up some hay today for the goats and cow. It's always quite a job to get all of that unloaded, carried over to the barn, piled in the middle, and pulled up into the loft one-by-one (Levi stacks them up there. Mom hooks them up to the rope, and both Levi & I pull them up).
It's nice to be able to go up in the loft and sit (provided you don't mind getting hay all over you (
). Especially now that the air is blocked off (mostly, at least) by the plexiglass "windows". Sunny loves it up there too since we made him a little hay bed in the corner to lay in when it's cold!

Just in case I have another episode of lack-of-inspiration, would there be anything that the readers of my blog would like to hear about, want me to blog about, want to know, any questions that you have about me, our beliefs, or anything that I could answer possibly in a future post… anything to give me extra inspiration for the future!
aligners, barn loft, Bible tag, blog about, braces, cat, collie, collie dog, disappearance, dog, Doreen's Jewel Box, extra inspiration, gabriel, hay, hay bales, hay loft, hear about, invisalign, lack-of-inspiration, questions, Scripture tag, smooth collie, Sunny, Sunshine, tetth, The Hiding Place, Thy Word Forever, tomcat, TWF, Uncle Arthur's Bedtime Stories, unloading hay
Ah, the simple life!

Shadow, as you can see from the picture here on the left, greatly enjoys being petted and scratched. 'Smatter a fact, he's turned into a downright spoiled little goat! He follows you around like a puppy dog (hence why we named him "Shadow" in the first place, only back then he was being Hannah's shadow, now he's everyone else's shadow!
).
I just love his floppy ears and adorable little face! In this picture he looks like he's smiling, though what goat wouldn't be smiling to get a big barn built just for them and get cuddled and petted all the time?
H
annah is not so keen on getting petted… her focus is more on food than getting petted, so Shadow usually gets all the petting, rubbing, and scratching. Well, maybe not all of it, but most of it!
(can anyone tell that Shadow's my favorite??
LOL) They are really enjoying their big new barn, with a big stall all to themselves!
Sunny is turning in to a pretty good little barn cat. He stayed outside most of the day yesterday, except for the few times when Mom took him back in the barn to get something to eat. Since he's gonna be an outside cat, he just better get used to being outside a lot! I think he enjoys it though.
All his kitty life before we got him he spent inside, so he really likes to explore and check everything out outside. Unfortunately for him, he tends to think that Hannah and Shadow's floppy ears are something to be batted at… but Hannah and Shadow don't agree wtih him at all!! Shadow has already tried to bash him into the ground with his head a couple of times, but Sunny's been too quick for him and jumped clear out of the way!
We were trying to figure out something to make so Sunny could get from the downstairs of the barn up to the loft, since he likes to be up there in all the hay… so Dad built this catwalk.
It's actually pretty neat, he walks up on the bottom one, gets to the end of that board, turns, and jumps on to the one right above and walks up to the loft. He can also get down by using it, though he tends to like to jump down the side of the barn (on the lowest end, of course!).
Hehehe, I just LOVE this picture of Jesse!
It was taken completely on accident, but it looks aboslutely hilarious! His face looks soo funny! Ok, so the background around him wasn't that blurry on the original, but I cropped Jesse out and blurred the background behind him to give it a neat effect.
The look on his face seems to be saying, "Ahem, WHY were you taking my picture, Lacy?" Ah, I love my guineas!

Mom says, "Lacy, which one do I have?" (Side note, I don't understand why everyone else can't tell my little guineas apart! Especially Sam, he's so obvious!
) My answer, "That's Sammy!"
