This is the day which the Lord hath made!
Wow, it's hard to believe that it's November already! This year seems to be going faster than any of the other years I can remember.
The return of chilly weather, Autumn colored leaves, leaves falling (raking those fallen leaves before long, too!). Even October seemed to have flown by faster than September (and we were even working that whole month of September!).
With all this chilly weather coming in, it's time to break out the wool socks, flannel shirts, and coats! Not to mention my cayenne and kelp, to keep me from getting soo cold!
Some of you might've noticed my new blog theme I've got up.
What do you think of it? I figured it was about time for a change, since everything outside is changing and that last header image had been up since June (it was a picture of the chicory I had taken at Gran & Pap's).. I really like the new header image, though perhaps that's because I took it myself, LOL! With a little GIMP editing, it turned out real nice.
On top of working on that, practicing my photography, I've also been busy on Stablishing Hearts and Thy Word Forever.. The new articles up on SH include "What IS a Christian?", "A meek and quiet spirit", and "True Beauty". If anybody has any suggestions for new articles we could write, or something you'd like us to write about, please feel free to write/comment and let me know!

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
~ Psalm 118:24 ~

excellent new header lacy! Yes, I am into GIMP as well, first because I am quite a cheap skate therefore buying Photoshop license is not in my list, and second I am not keen to buy pirated copy, so GIMP is my choice! Glad to find you enjoying using GIMP too.

Yes, November has come quickly in some ways for me too and yet, this year has seemed to be a very hard one for our family. I really like your new theme picture. Very pretty. I'd love to be on that road. What's over the bump in the road?
Look forward to seeing all your hard work. You and Megan are doing great with Stablishing Hearts and Thy Word Forever. I've really enjoyed your posts.
God's blessing dear sister!

I like the new look of your blog!
And the header is really lovely. This year has flow, hard to believe it's Autumn over there while here everything is green and the temperature is hot!
Great wallpaper with a lovely verse! We often sing a song with this verse in it!

Your blog looks lovely Lacy! I'm amazed that its already November. The weather keeps confusing me. Some days it feels like summer, and on other days it feels like the middle of winter.
Have A Blessed Day,

I like the new header. It may be fall there, but winter arrived up here last week. First we had about 6 inches of snow. Now it's around zero and actually -2 last night.
I think your photography is improving. Have you considered taking a class in it?

How strange to think that while we're in Fall, you are already in winter!
I figure the more I practice my photography, the more it will improve – that's why I take so many pictures! I guess you could say I am taking a class on it.. A RSP (Research, Study, & Practice) Homeschool Photography class.
