A Godly Maiden

Well, we've got most of the barn painted again.. I think we only have one side left to do. Dad built a "double dutch door" (I think that's what it's called) for the run-in stall, the k ind of door where you can open the top and have the bottom still closed, know what I mean? If not, this picture ought to give it away.

Of course, this was a picture that was taken before it got painted, so imagine it red like the rest of the barn now! Now that everything is all painted and all, maybe tomorrow I can get my camera out and get some updated pictures of everything!

I got to do [most] of the trim work and around the edges while we were painting. I kinda like painting, outside at least, it's fun! Well, it's fun when it's not chilly out, otherwise my fingers get ice cold! It's a good thing I wore some old clothes, because I got speckled with red paint!

Gabriel just absolutely hates getting his picture taken. He'll deliberately look elsewhere whenever I point the camera in his general direction, which can be used as an advantage for some pictures. For instance, I think this side picture of him looks much nicer than a straight-on shot would be.

And Sunny.. He just decided to curl up in a 5 gallon bucket that was half full of hay and soak up some sun. He's turning into a very good barn cat, staying around, occasionally chasing guineas (hehe) and playing down by the creek.
