Ah, the simple life!

IMG_0034 Shadow, as you can see from the picture here on the left, greatly enjoys being petted and scratched. 'Smatter a fact, he's turned into a downright spoiled little goat! He follows you around like a puppy dog (hence why we named him "Shadow" in the first place, only back then he was being Hannah's shadow, now he's everyone else's shadow! :P ).

I just love his floppy ears and adorable little face! In this picture he looks like he's smiling, though what goat wouldn't be smiling to get a big barn built just for them and get cuddled and petted all the time? :)

Hstalkingkittyannah is not so keen on getting petted… her focus is more on food than getting petted, so Shadow usually gets all the petting, rubbing, and scratching. Well, maybe not all of it, but most of it! :D (can anyone tell that Shadow's my favorite?? :P LOL) They are really enjoying their big new barn, with a big stall all to themselves!

Sunny is turning in to a pretty good little barn cat. He stayed outside most of the day yesterday, except for the few times when Mom took him back in the barn to get something to eat. Since he's gonna be an outside cat, he just better get used to being outside a lot! I think he enjoys it though.

All his kitty life before we got him he spent inside, so he really likes to explore and check everything out outside. Unfortunately for him, he tends to think that Hannah and Shadow's floppy ears are something to be batted at… but Hannah and Shadow don't agree wtih him at all!! Shadow has already tried to bash him into the ground with his head a couple of times, but Sunny's been too quick for him and jumped clear out of the way!

catwalk We were trying to figure out something to make so Sunny could get from the downstairs of the barn up to the loft, since he likes to be up there in all the hay… so Dad built this catwalk.

It's actually pretty neat, he walks up on the bottom one, gets to the end of that board, turns, and jumps on to the one right above and walks up to the loft. He can also get down by using it, though he tends to like to jump down the side of the barn (on the lowest end, of course!).

whywereyoutakingmypictureHehehe, I just LOVE this picture of Jesse! :D It was taken completely on accident, but it looks aboslutely hilarious! His face looks soo funny! Ok, so the background around him wasn't that blurry on the original, but I cropped Jesse out and blurred the background behind him to give it a neat effect.

The look on his face seems to be saying, "Ahem, WHY were you taking my picture, Lacy?" Ah, I love my guineas! :D

mom&sammy
Mom says, "Lacy, which one do I have?" (Side note, I don't understand why everyone else can't tell my little guineas apart! Especially Sam, he's so obvious! :P ) My answer, "That's Sammy!"

Sunny must be a pretty smart cat to figure out that catwalk! Was it difficult to train him to use it? And the picture of Jesse is fantastic!!! I have been using it as my desktop background. I laugh every time I see it, He sure is making a funny face!
