More Progress

Ah, so much progress has been made with the building since I last updated you all! :) It doesn't just look like a bunch of sticks concreted in the ground now, but actually has a roof, can you believe it?! :D

Last week Mom and I went back to WV for a quick trip to pick Megan back up and bring her back for another visit with us (which we're all greatly enjoying!). It's actually been one week already today that she's been here with us! How strange that time flies by so quickly.

Sometime soon we will be getting a little kitty cat for the barnyard, Lord willing! :) I *think* it's the one on the first picture all the way to the left (who looks like he's about ready to punch the camera :P ), but there's two orange ones so I kind of get confused as to which one it is. Right now they are at my Aunt Mel's house, but I think she's going to be bringing one down here soon.

It's a male, short haired, and orange. I am really hoping he'll turn out to be a good mouse cat, because we've really been getting a lot of mice around here lately and I'm not too good at catching them myself! :P We haven't decided on a name for him though, I reckon that'll wait until we get to know his personality a bit, then can decide on a proper name for him!

In the left picture you'll notice Shadow getting a drink…..out of Dad's water cup!! :P LOL! He must've really liked that cold water! And in the right picture you'll see the chair I was sitting in, beside Megan, only when I got up my seat was instantly taken by someone else….Hannah! That silly goat! :D

I'm sure by now ya'll are wanting to see the updated pictures of the barn structure. :D Ah well, I suppose I've kept you waiting in suspense long enough! :P

There you have it, friends! All our progress made since my last post, and it sure is a lot, isn't it? :D I'm very thankful that the LORD has kept us safe while we've worked on it, especially when Dad and Levi were up on the very top metal roof putting it on and doing stuff!!

The barn is looking great! I'm excited to see the finished product. I love the style of the roof.
And how exciting to have Megan back! (already?? wow, how time flies!) I hope you have a lot of fun together while she is there. How long is she staying this time?
By the way, Shadow drinking out of your dad's water cup reminds me of my dog, Bridgette. She really likes to steal my dad's lunch if he gets up in the middle of the meal, but she won't take anyone else's food! :) .-= Sister F´s most recent blog entry – Harvest, Charity, and Speaking Report =-.

What a super barn! It looks good enough to live in!

I love the cat photos! Cats are indeed fun. I have a an orange (or as we normally say in England ginger) tabby and his name is Jasper, which is an orangey coloured stone. I also have a white cat called Alfie.

It's a beautiful barn! By the way, as long as you don't spoil your cat too much, he probably will be a great mouser. Our cat loves to drop dead mice on our doorstep, no matter how much we don't want her to. :D .-= Victoria Rebecca´s most recent blog entry – I Got An Award!!! =-.

I love cats! I hope yours is a good mouse cat. Your barn is coming along nicely – when do you think it will be finished by?
